Basic Info BioWelcome to my journal - The stream of consciousness ramblings of a 20 something year old. Understand that you are reading the condensate mixture of boredom, frustration and obligation that compel me to write at erratic intervals. Occasionally profound, however, more often than not profoundly blonde, this journal is a light read for those who have not the energy or time for a Mills and Boon airport novel. If you are a grammar Nazi you will also delight in the rich pickings with which to demonstrate the bastardisation of the English language as well.
Like other greater journal writers like Carrie of Sex and The City and Bridget Jones of Bridget Jones' Diary, I too have had my Mr Biggs, Mr Mistakes and a healthy dose of general social anxiety that comes with a young person discovering the world, its beauty and short comings. I have however censored some of the more delightfully insane entries for my private consumption. A journal is a lot like an SMS message, without the correct intonation and context, it can often fall victim to miss interpretation or malevolent miss information!
I just hope I learn from my mistakes in life and that unlike Carrie I don’t just end up with a bunch of profoundly stupid, “what if we..”, unanswered rhetorical questions or find myself like Bridget Jones afraid of ending up alone, eaten by her pet Alsatians!
I’m sure with a wealth of god given intelligence, beautiful friends and family that none of these things will happen to me. I live my busy life outside of my journal space and occasionally assault it when I have had one to many coffees…
